Vancouver, WA: Vancouver Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle will meet with riders on board The Vine this Friday, offering members of the public a chance to ask questions, share comments or talk transit.
McEnerny-Ogle, also a member of the C-TRAN Board of Directors, will ride The Vine between downtown Vancouver and the Vancouver Mall Transit Center the afternoon of Friday, July 6. The mayor will board the bus at Turtle Place station (Washington Street and Seventh Street in downtown) at approximately 2:10 p.m., and ride for one round trip. The bus is scheduled to arrive at Vancouver Mall at approximately 2:40 p.m. The bus will depart the mall at 2:50 p.m., arriving back at Turtle Place at approximately 3:19 p.m.
The bus will be in regular service, so members of the public planning to join the ride should arrive at the station at least 5 minutes early to ensure they catch it on time. People may also join the ride at any other stations along The Vine corridor. Fares will be required.
McEnerny-Ogle is the second C-TRAN board member to participate in this summer’s Ride with a Board Member series. Last month, Battle Ground City Councilor and C-TRAN board member Adrian Cortes met with passengers aboard Route 7.About the Agency
