The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a civil rights law enacted in 1990. The ADA is a Federal law prohibiting discrimination against people with disabilities in all areas, including employment, transportation, public accommodations, communications, and access to state and local government programs and services. At C-TRAN, we are committed to comply with the ADA requirements in all its programs, services, and activities.

Title I—Employment: C-TRAN does not discriminate on the basis of disability in its hiring or employment practices and complies with the ADA Title 1 employment regulations.
Effective Communication: Upon request, C-TRAN will provide auxiliary aids and services leading to effective communication for people with disabilities, including sign language interpreters, assistive listening devices, documents in Braille, and other ways of making communication accessible to people who have speech, hearing, or vision requirements.
Modifications of Policies and Procedures: C-TRAN makes reasonable modifications to policies and procedures, ensuring people with disabilities have equal access to programs, services, and activities.
Requests: To request an auxiliary aid or service or a modification to policies or procedures, contact C-TRAN's ADA Coordinator as soon as possible. Requests for auxiliary aids or modification of policies/procedures should be made to C-TRAN at least one week in advance. ADA-Related Service Complaints should follow the ADA Grievance Procedure.
