Vancouver, WA: Clark County Councilor John Blom will meet with riders on board Route 30 this Thursday, offering members of the public a chance to ask questions, share comments or talk transit.
Blom, also a member of the C-TRAN Board of Directors, will ride Route 30 between downtown Vancouver and Fisher’s Landing Transit Center the morning of Thursday, September 20. Blom will board the bus at Broadway and Evergreen Boulevard at approximately 9:53 a.m. and ride for one round trip. The bus is scheduled to arrive at Fisher’s Landing Transit Center at approximately 10:46 a.m. The bus will depart Fisher’s Landing at 11:00 a.m., arriving back at Broadway and Evergreen in downtown Vancouver at approximately 11:53 a.m.
The bus will be in regular service, so members of the public planning to join the ride should arrive at the stop at least 5 minutes early to ensure they catch it on time. People may also join the ride at any other stops along the route. Fares will be required.
Blom is the third C-TRAN board member to participate in this year’s Ride with a Board Member series. Previous rides have included Battle Ground City Councilor Adrian Cortes on Route 7, and Vancouver Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle on The Vine.
