A lot has changed in Clark County since C-TRAN first started rolling in July 1981. We’ve changed with it. Millions of rides later, C-TRAN has grown into an award-winning public transportation system. As we celebrate 40 years of service in 2021, join C-TRAN for a series of activities and events happening throughout the summer and beyond.

So...how did we get here?
C-TRAN’s history goes back to 1981, but the story of transit in Clark County goes back much further than that.
C-TRAN is proud to partner with the Clark County Historical Museum on a new exhibit exploring the history of transportation in our region: from the streetcars and ferries of the early 20th century to C-TRAN's first 40 years and beyond. The exhibit includes a series of historic images and information panels covering the growth of C-TRAN as Clark County grew with it, plus historical items and other displays.
The exhibit is now on display on the fifth floor of the Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St., and will remain there for the rest of this year and into 2022. Check it out!
