Events in Vancouver and Battle Ground will significantly impact C-TRAN service this Friday, July 15, and Saturday, July 16.
Cruisin’ the Gut
On Saturday, several routes will be on detour for most of the day during the annual Cruisin’ the Gut event in Vancouver. Affected routes include Routes 2, 3, 4, 25, 30, 32 and 71. (MAP)
Starting at 7 a.m. Saturday, Routes 32 and 71 will detour using Interstate 5 north of Fourth Plain. Bus stops along Main Street between Fourth Plain Boulevard and 39th Street will be closed. Additional portions of the routes will detour starting at 9 a.m., as will Routes 2, 3, 4, 25 and 30. Various bus stops on Broadway, Washington Street, Eighth Street and Sixth Street will also close at that time.
The detours and stop closures will last until approximately 11 p.m. During the event, routes 2, 30 and 71 will not the bus stop at Broadway and Evergreen Boulevard. A temporary stop will be placed on C Street at 11th Street to serve these three routes on Saturday.
Battle Ground Harvest Days
Due to Harvest Days Grand Parade in Battle Ground, Route 7 will be on detour between Southwest 10th Avenue and Southeast Grace Avenue, with buses diverting off of Main Street from approximately 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 16. Bus stops on Main Street between 10th Avenue and Clark Avenue will be closed during the event. (MAP)
On Friday, July 15, Route 7 will detour off Main Street between Southwest Fifth Avenue and Grace, with buses using First Street instead of Main from approximately 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. during the Harvest Nights Cruise.
Temporary stops will be placed on Southeast First Street and Grace Avenue for Route 7, and on First Street westbound near City Hall for C-VAN during the detours.
