We Are C-TRAN

Here at C-TRAN, we’re proud of the work we do. It takes hundreds of people to make this operation hum every day. More than half of them are drivers, either fixed-route or paratransit C-VAN operators who help keep Clark County moving.

Transit drivers act as a sort of ambassador for the communities they serve. They’re the first face you see when you step on the bus. They help new residents or visitors get to where they want to go. And they form a bond with the passengers they see on a regular basis. Many know each other by name.

Drivers are among the most visible members of our team, and we’re looking to add new members. C-TRAN is hiring both fixed-route and paratransit operators. We’re poised to expand service in the coming years, but we need additional drivers to make that happen. We’re also not alone in that need: Transit agencies across the country have grappled with driver shortages in recent years, with various factors contributing to the trend. We’re taking the issue seriously, and we recently boosted our training wages as one way to attract—and keep—new hires.

Interested in joining the C-TRAN team? You can apply at www.c-tran.com/careers. No commercial driver’s license? No problem. You can get your CDL as part of your training. Once you’re on board, we offer great pay and great benefits.

But don’t take our word for it. Hear a few of our fixed-route drivers describe the job in their own words.
